Albion

Richard Lee Wison, 72, of Albion, died Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born March 21, 1951 in Charleston, West Virginia to Paul and Launa (Stanley) Wilson.

On October 16, 1976 he married Connie Lawrence in Goshen.

She survives along with four children, Patricia Lynn Colvin (Wilson), Ligonier, Richard (Jennifer) Wilson, Gas City, Randall Wilson, New Castle and Fred (Erika) Wilson, Darien, Georgia; many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren; three sisters, Connie (Alex) Fedorow, Tammy Clark and Teresa Howell, and three brothers, Robert (Aleta) Wilson and Dana and Ricky Morton.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Wilson; two brothers, Freddie and Paul David Wilson, and a sister, Margie Taylor.

Richard worked as a fork lift driver for the RV industries for over 35 years and was proud of that. He attended Full Gospel Community Church, New Paris where he played drums and sang.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Hossler will officiate.

Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Full Gospel Community Church.
