Goshen
Richard D. Weaver, 89, of Goshen, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.
He was born January 3, 1932 in Goshen to Lloyd and Nina (Frye) Weaver.
On September 30, 1956 he married Margaret Boyts.
She survives along with two children, Karen K. Weaver of Martinez, California and Mitchell (Marianne) Weaver of Charleston, South Carolina; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Eleanor Kinney and Phillip Weaver.
A 1951 graduate of Goshen High School, Rich served with the US Army for three years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen and Maplecrest Country Club.
He retired from Goshen Rubber in 1985 after 36 years.
A private graveside service will be held at Violett Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to First United Methodist Church or Goshen Hospital Foundation.
