Richard E. Haslett

Richard E. Haslett, 76, of Goshen, died at his home early Monday afternoon, February 21, 2011. He was born in Elkhart on December 5, 1934 to Floyd Edgar and Vera Christine (Hicks) Haslett. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Kay Paff of Ligonier; a son, Richard Earl Haslett, Jr. of North Manchester; a brother, Tommy Ray (Rosemary) Haslett of Adkins, Texas; two sisters, Edna “Sammy” Zoe Birch of Goshen and Rose Marie Haslett of Dowagiac, Michigan; and a companion, Ellen Krueger of Marcellus, Michigan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon A. Kaehr. A 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2011, memorial service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Goshen Cancer Center.
