Richard J. Bowman

Richard J. Bowman, 89, of Goshen, died Friday, May 2, 2014, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing where he had been since February 27. He was born July 6, 1924 in Elkhart County to Alpha and Laura E. (Ulery) Bowman. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Maria Elizabeth Ray. A life time area resident, Mr. Bowman was a mild mannered man who enjoyed drawing and painting. He was a member of Rock Run Church of the Brethren. He had worked at various factories and as janitor at the Goshen Public Library before retiring. Cremation has taken place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Friends will gather Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 9:30 a.m., for a graveside service at West Goshen Cemetery. Pastor Tim Waits, Rock Run Church of the Brethren, will officiate.
