Rhoda K. Lehman, 85, of Goshen, died at IU Health Goshen Hospital early Tuesday morning, January 3, 2012. She was born November 7, 1926 in Lancaster, Pennsyslvania, to the late D. Stoner and Frances (Miller) Krady. She married Martin W. Lehman April 5, 1947 in Lancaster. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Rachel (Eldon) Lehman Stoltzfus of Goshen; a son, J. Conrad Lehman of Goshen; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth (Harold) Lehman of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Naomi (Paul) Lehman of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, Lois (Roy) Hartzler of New Paris, and Betty (Cary) Kelsey of Elkhart; and two brothers, Daniel Krady of Harleysville, Pennsylvania and James (Madeleine Krady) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by a sister, Elva Krady and a brother, Paul Krady. A Goshen resident since 2008, coming from Sarasota, Florida, Mrs. Lehman was a member of Forks Mennonite Church and was currently attending College Mennonite Church. She actively served in many influential roles within the church including as minister's spouse and as an administrative assistant for the Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Florida. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 6, and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church, Goshen. An 11 a.m., memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at College Mennonite Church, Goshen. Pastor Phil Waite, College Mennonite Church and Pastor Richard Martin, Forks Mennonite Church, will officiate. A memorial service will also be held at Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Florida. Cremation will take place and cremains will be placed in a columbarium at Bahia Vista Mennonite Church, Sarasota, Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeast Mennonite Conference.
