Retha Ilean Barrick

Retha I. Barrick, 90, of Mishawaka, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, at Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka.

She was born July 21, 1930 in Pierceton to Isaac and Wava (Howell) Witmer.

On March 8, 1951 she married Stanley E. Barrick in Goshen.  He died June 26, 2015.

Survivors include two children, Debra (Gregory) Stuart of Osceola and Michael (Sharon) Barrick of Goshen; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou Hart and Emmajean Line.

An excellent cook and baker, Mrs. Barrick did cake decorating for many years.  She also worked for Conn, Maxwell Hut restaurant, Montgomery Ward and Concord Schools.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation will take place and burial will be at North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.
