Reinhold A. Barth

Reinhold A. Barth, 86, of Bristol, died late Sunday afternoon, August 5, 2007, at his home. He was born in Bellwood, Illinois, on July 28, 1921, to Alexander K. and Maria (Hanke) Barth.  He married Helen McAlerney in Chicago, Illinois, on May 20, 1944.  She survives. Mr. Barth, a retired minister, missionary and evangelist, was a member of North Side Gospel Center in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Timothy Paul (Bona) Barth of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Stephen Mark Barth of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Sharon Schaubert of Bristol; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth (James T. ) Moore of Rockford, Illinois. He was preceded in death by eight siblings. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 9, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. A 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at the Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.  Pastor Merritt Johnson will officiate.
