Reetha Fay Beechy

Reetha Fay Beechy                                                            Reetha Fay Beechy, 92, of Goshen, died early Monday morning, December 4, 2006, at Greencroft Healthcare.   She was born in Millersburg, Ohio, on November 29, 1914, to Calvin and Etta (Miller) Mast.  On October 10, 1940, in Millersburg, Ohio, she married Mark Beechy.  He died November 2, 1988.   A homemaker, Mrs. Beechy, had lived in the area since 1986, coming from Orville, Ohio.  She had also worked at Apple Creek State Hospital in Ohio.  She was a member of the Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen.   She is survived by three daughters, Charlene (Lowell) Stoltzfus and Barbara (Loren Eash) Springer, both of Goshen, and Brenda (Dave) Huneryager of Milburn, New Jersey; two sons, John (Claudia) Beechy of Salem, Oregon and Leonard (Sharon) Beechy of Goshen; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Ray and Glen Mast.     Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, at the Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen, and from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 8 at the Martins Mennonite Church in Orville, Ohio.   An 11:00 a.m., memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Martins Mennonite Church in Orville, Ohio.  Pastors Randy Murray and John King will officiate.   A private family burial will be in the Martins Mennonite Church Cemetery, Orville, Ohio.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Waterford Mennonite Church, Goshen.
