Rebecca Sue Yoder, 70, of Goshen, died Sunday morning, January 22, 2017at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, Greenwood, due to complications from a 2012 motorcycle accident.
She was born January 2, 1947 in Mishawaka to Clifford, Sr. and Delores (Durbin) Thompson.
On June 4, 1994 she married Omer Jay Yoder in Elkhart.
He survives along with a daughter, Dawn (George) Cook of Mottville, Michigan; two sons, Richard Rondot and Timothy Rondot, both of Elkhart; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda Varga of Tuscon, Arizona and Peggy (Steven) Foust of Aurora, Illinois; and a brother, Clifford, Jr. (Sheri) Thompson of Bristol.
Rebecca worked as a L.P.N. prior to the accident, and attended Silverwood Mennonite Church. She was a member of the ABATE of Indiana motorcycle club.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, and Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 9 a.m. prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home.
According to Rebecca’s wishes, cremation will take place after the service. Burial will be at Violett Cemetery at a later date.
