Rebecca Sink

Rebecca I. Sink 73, of Goshen died early Saturday morning, Dec. 29, 2012 at her home. She had been in declining health the past few years. She was born January 17, 1939, in Goshen, to Lavon "Ike" and Thelma (Gardner) Mellinger. On April 6, 1958 she married Ronald C. Sink at the First Brethren Church in Goshen. He survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Stacey L. Sink, of Goshen; a son, Danny (Diane) Sink, of Elkhart; grandsons, Ryan and Bradley Sink; and a brother, Benjamin Mellinger, of Spokane, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Bradley Scott Sink Mrs. Sink was a member of the Goshen High School class of 1957, a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She worked part time at the Goshen News and volunteered with hospice for four years. Friends may call 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday Jan. 3, 2013 prior to a 1:30 p.m. funeral service all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Spyker will officiate. Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Scott Sink Memorial Fund through Jefferson Brethren Church.
