Rebecca Anne Pletcher

Rebecca Anne Pletcher, of New Paris, 49, died Monday evening, April 15,2013, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She became ill Saturday, April 6. She was born October 25, 1963 in Oakland, California, to Donald Rutledge and Gwynne (Boyer) Thomas. She married Brian Lynn Pletcher September 7, 1990 in Goshen. He survives along with a daughter, Megan Elizabeth Pletcher of New Paris; her mother and step-father, Gwynne and Bob Thomas of Fallon, Nevada; grandmother, Gloria Boyer of Salem, Oregon; and a sister, Jennifer (Mark) Rutledge-Smith of Dallas, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Bob Boyer and Ralph and Grace Rutledge. An area resident since 1989, Mrs. Pletcher worked in the office of Dr. King and Dr. Ebersole for 18 years. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013, memorial service will be conducted at First Baptist Church, Goshen. Rev. Greg Gibson will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassion International.
