Rebecca "Becky" L. Weirick

Rebecca “Becky” L. Weirick, 69, of Goshen died Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the home of her son following an extended illness.

She was born April 12, 1947 in Elkhart to Chester and Eula (Kurtz) Burkhead.

On July 11, 1987 she married Terry Lee Weirick in Goshen.  He died February 15, 2014.

Survivors include two sons, Robert (Robin) Lawton of Wakarusa and Raymond (Dusti) Lawton of Stoneboro, Pennsylvania.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Amy Gilson and Stacy (Mick) Tubbs, both of Elkhart; a sister, Mona Gibson of Dallas, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Linda Burkhead of Goshen.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Burkhead.

Becky worked as a waitress at the former Old Mill Inn for many years.  A faithful woman of prayer, she was a selfless person always looking out for others.  She enjoyed animals and treasured time with grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.  There will be no services.
