Raymond M. Taylor

Raymond M. Taylor, 63, of Goshen, died Wednesday morning, September 19, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital. He was born in Peru, Indiana, on May 2, 1944, to Charles H. and Chole Belle Randolph Taylor.  He married Joyce F. Springer in Goshen on November 13, 1962.  She survives. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Taylor was a fork lift driver in shipping and receiving for Forest River in Goshen.  He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a daughter, Debbie Sue (Darell) Lewis, two sons, Jeffie Ray Taylor and Raymond Glen Taylor, all of Goshen; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Two sisters, Betty Wallace of Arkansas and Beverly (Frank) Evan of Arizona; and six brothers, Leroy “Bud” Taylor of Kentucky, Bill (Roline) Taylor, Carl Taylor and Roger (Gloria) Taylor, all of Goshen, Jim Taylor of South Bend, and Jerry (Fannie) Taylor of New Paris, also survive. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, September 21, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home.  Oaklawn Chaplain Bob Shreiner will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Oaklawn or the American Lung Association.
