Ransom Pressler

Ransom L. Pressler, 74, of Goshen passed away Friday, September 2, 2022 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

He was born January 23, 1948 in Elkhart to John Pressler, Sr. and Betty (Mercer) Pressler.

On July 27, 1974 he married Linda Rockwood in Flora, Indiana.

She survives along with a daughter, Amanda (Victor Hugo) Herrera of Goshen; a son, Garth (Jennifer Hesch) Pressler of Alexandria, Virginia; five grandchildren, Irissa and Kayden Herrera, and Noah, Emma, and Olivia Pressler; and a brother, Phillip Pressler, Elkhart.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John David Pressler, Jr.

Mr. Pressler was a general freight truck driver for many years. While attending Stone Lake Church of God, he would drive the bus for church functions. He and Linda were currently attending West Goshen Church of the Brethren.

Ransom enjoyed classic cars and riding motorcycles.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 12 p.m. funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Bruce Yoder will officiate.

Burial will follow at West Goshen Cemetery.
