Randy W. Penland

Randy W. Penland, 68, died Friday, August 21, 2020.

He was born June 23, 1952 in Gary to Jack and Marian (Kuhn) Penland.

On October 25, 1975 he married Brenda Adkins.

She survives along with three children, Billy (Stephanie) Penland and Jolene (Joe) Brown, both of Goshen and Keith (Meghann) Boyer of Monee, Illinois; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Harold Earl; two brothers, Steven and Dave Penland and a sister, Lynn Archer.

Randy played drums with the Long Shot band and loved doing yard work.  He worked for Asplundh Tree Service in management as a work planner.  He also worked part-time for the City of Goshen Street Department.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2020, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Family and friends will gather for a graveside service Monday, August 31, at 2 p.m. at Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Goshen Salvation Army.
