Randy D. Eash

Randy D. Eash, 50, of Goshen died unexpectedly of natural causes, Friday, October 9, 2020.

He was born May 16, 1970 in Goshen to Olen and Ella (Haney) Eash.

On November 21, 1992 he married Penny Mawhorter in Goshen.

She survives along with a daughter, Brittney (Troy) Niles of Syracuse; his father, Olen of Nappanee; a sister, Tonya (Jeff) Helmuth of Topeka; a niece, Mikala Mawhorter of Syracuse; three nephews, Darren (Candice) Stillson of Fortville, Nicholas (Heather) Eash of Missouri and Justin Eash of Syracuse; mother-in-law, Becky Mawhorter of Goshen; and brother-in-law, Allan (Terry) Mawhorter of Syracuse.

He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Scott Eash and father-in-law, Joe Mawhorter.

Randy worked for BriMar Wood Innovations, Inc., Goshen.  He enjoyed spending time with family, especially camping at Gun Lake with his father, holiday shopping with his daughter and weekend getaways with Penny.

He was a member of Maxwelton Golf Club, Syracuse, where one of his happy memories was a hole in one.  He was a gifted woodworker and could fix anything he got his hands on.  He loved being out on the lake fishing and taking in the nature around him.

Lovingly labeled #1 cheer dad and uncle, Randy was there to support his family in what ever they were participating in at the time.  He had a great sense of humor, was an all-around great guy, who was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.  There will also be one hour of visitation Wednesday, October 14, 2020 prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service.  Pastor Jeff Stackhouse will officiate. Standard Covid protocol, face masks and social distancing is requested.

Burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell.
