Ragene Fortier

Ragene Lea Fortier, 80, of Millersburg, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born December 12, 1941 in Goshen to Donald and Peggy (Dorman) Schwartz.

In May 26, 1992, she married Edward J. Fortier Sr. in Goshen.

Edward survives along with Ragene’s sons, Donald Waldrop of Goshen and Duane (Leslie) Waldrop of Sturgis, Michigan; four step-children, Cheryl Miller of Bristol, Edward B. (Deanna) Fortier, Jr. of Goshen, Steve (Kelly) Fortier of Arizona and Mary (Brian) Humphrey of Osceola; a brother, Ronald (Ann) Schwartz of Dublin, Georgia; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ragene was a very loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all children in both families. She loved the outdoors, gardening and golf.

Private family services and burial at Violett Cemetery will take place at a later date.
