Rachel F. Eger, 89, of Goshen and formerly of Osceola died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Duke Raleigh Hospital, Raleigh, North Carolina.
She was born October 18, 1926 in Elkhart to James R. and Edna A. (Stark) Lynn.
On September 18, 1948 she married Herman L. Eger at Sugar Grove Church. He died November 30, 2008.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean (Bob) Wing of Stuart, Florida, Joan (Devon) Miller and Chris (Jim) Stembel both of Goshen; a son, Steve Eger also of Goshen; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Alice Miller, Ruth Harris, Gladys Lynn, Lina Eger, Bertha Lynn, Charlotte Jones, Jane Eger, Josie Priest and Frank Lynn.
Rachel was a homemaker and worked at Crown International, Elkhart for 14 years.
Friends may call Friday, December 4, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and Saturday, December 5, 2015 one hour prior to the 12:30 p.m. funeral at Sugar Grove Church. Pastor Cary Perdue will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Child Evangelism Ministries or Sugar Grove Church.
