Phyllis A. Yaap

Phyllis D. Yaap, 87, of Goshen, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born July 17, 1931 to Leroy and Susannah S. (Fry) Rice.

Survivors include four children, Beth Vanlandschoot, Arlene (James) Lee, James Yaap and Linda (Todd) Croy, all of Goshen, seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Aryln Yaap, Jr. and Stephen George; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Yaap worked at the Goshen Inn and Conference Center as a waitress and cook.

Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2018, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart.

Memorials may be given to Humane Society of Elkhart County.
