Mrs. Phyllis C. Piper 85, of North Webster, died Wednesday afternoon, January 23, 2013, at the home of her daughter, Jane. She was born August 26, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, to Albert and Marie (Flanders) Clark. On July 5, 1946, she married Edgar Glen Piper in Independence, Kan. He died in 2005. She is survived by three daughters, Jane (Tom) Davis of North Webster, Robin (Daren) Rader of Elkhart, and Rebecca Piper of Tacoma, Washington.; a son, Joe (Darlene) Piper of Hendersonville, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald (Barbara) Clark of Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Piper was a homemaker and worked at Johnson Controls in assembly prior to retirement. She was a member of Christian Fellowship of Goshen. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 funeral will be held at the funeral home, with Pastor Craig Garber of Christian Fellowship of Goshen, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be directed to Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
