Phyllis M. Lehman, 94, of Goshen, died early June 27, 2020, at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born September 6, 1925 in Watertown, New York to Chauncey and Mabel (Clark) Maltby.
On August 9, 1947 she married Earl M. Lehman in Croghan, New York. He died July 2, 2004.
Survivors include four sons, John (Brenda) Lehman of Angola, Clark (Rosario) Lehman of Homestead, Florida, Sidney Lehman of Goshen and Stephen (Gail) Lehman of Wakarusa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Knowles of Syracuse, New York.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Maltby and a sister, Muriel Thompson.
A longtime area resident, Mrs. Lehman worked at Goshen Hospital for 19 years as a nurse’s aide.
Mrs. Lehman was a member of First Mennonite Church, Nappanee. She enjoyed baking, gardening, singing and making pressed flower cards, even selling some of them at the MCC Mennonite Relief Sale.
No public services are planned. A private burial will take place at Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
