Phyllis M. Ellis

Phyllis M. Ellis, 85, of Goshen died Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Waterford Crossing Healthcare.

She was born December 13, 1938 in Indianapolis to Grover and Della Neff.

On August 30, 1959 she married Larry Ellis.

He survives along with daughters, Brenda (Mitch) Chrisman, Bristol, and Kathleen Ellis, Middlebury; sons, Michael Ellis, Elkhart, and Larry (Sonya) Ellis, Middlebury; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Tammy Ellis.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Ellis, and four sisters, Victoria Craig, Ruth Mitchell, Mary Larose, and Barbara Drummond.

A loving homemaker, Phyllis enjoyed painting and playing the organ. She also worked at ESI Meats in Bristol as a meat cutter.

Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. prior to a 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Jackson Cemetery, Benton.
