Phyllip Wayne Davis

Phyllip Wayne Davis, 22, Syracuse, died Thursday, Oct. 5, at his home.

He was born July 29, 1995 in Goshen.

He is survived by mother, Angela Charles; stepfather, Jason Charles, both of Syracuse; biological father, Ronald Alexander Davis, Sr., South Bend; siblings, Ronald Alexander Davis, Jr., South Bend, Alexander (Sierra) Davis, Camp Pendleton, California, Joshua Troxell, Goshen, Amber (Matt) Davis Wood, LaPorte, Jackson Charles and Evelyn Charles, both of Syracuse; grandparents, Jeff and Lisa Hernley, Middlebury and Oscar and Phyllis Davis, Niles, Michigan; great-grandparents, Charles Hernley and Beatrice Mast, both of Goshen; uncle, Shane (Renee) Hernley, Goshen; aunts, Amy (Mike Stout) Hernley, Goshen, and April (Chris) Martin, Osceola.

After graduating from Wawasee High School in 2014, Phyllip worked in production at AIA Countertops, Syracuse.  He enjoyed drawing, animals, woodworking and spending time with nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, Oct. 13, from 4-6 p.m at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Cremation will follow at Yoder-Culp Crematory and burial will be at a later date.
