Phillip L. Weaver

Phillip L. Weaver, 78, of Goshen, died Friday, September 21, 2018, at Courtyard Healthcare.

He was born August 24, 1940 in Goshen to Lloyd and Nina (Frey) Weaver.

On November 24, 1979 he married Peggy Chapman.

She survives along with a son, Andrew (Suzie) Weaver of Raleigh, North Carolina; a granddaughter, Maddux Weaver and a brother, Richard (Margie) Weaver of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eleanor Kinney.

A lifelong Goshen resident, Mr. Weaver retired from Smokercraft.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and bowling in various leagues.  He attended Grace Community Church.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, September 23, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., followed by a 3:30 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Chuck Cheek will officiate.

Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
