Phillip W. Roose

Phillip W. Roose, 59, of Goshen, died unexpectedly at his home Friday afternoon, September 5, 2014. He was born March 27, 1955 in Goshen to Donald and Phyllis (Stoner) Roose. On June 26, 1982 he married Connie J. Levitz. She survives along with two daughters, Shelly (Matt) Eash, of Pendleton, and Monica (Brian) Hanson, of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Nolan, Jillian, Sullivan, Brendan and Adrian; a brother, Jeffrey D. (Rse) Roose, of Croghan, New York, and a sister, Julia (Glenn) Haszler, of Goshen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Roose was a 1973 graduate of Goshen High School and worked in the mill room at Forest River RV manufacturing. He was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Bears fan. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday Sept. 10, 2014, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where an 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 funeral service will be held. Rev. Jim Shrock will officiate. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery.
