Phillip Roy Hamilton

Phillip Roy Hamilton, 88, of Elkhart,  died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born January 30, 1935 in Bristol to Marion “Kirby” and Dorothy M. (Johnson) Hamilton.

On May 31, 1997 he married Ruth B. (Havens) Alwine in Pigeon Forge.

She survives along with three children, Holli Hamilton, Elkhart, Brian Hamilton, Linton and Steve (Deb) Alwine, Goshen and three grandchildren, Ashley Hamilton and Joshua and Matt Alwine.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Michelle Hamilton.

Phillip worked as a production supervisor for Lippert Components. He also was a car salesman and worked tool and die prior to retiring from Lippert. He served in the US Army for 6 years and enjoyed gardening. He attended Bristol Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 11 to 12 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, follow by a graveside service and burial at Violett Cemetery.
