Peggy J. Myers

Peggy J. Myers, 86, a lifetime resident of Goshen, died on Monday, December 23, 2024.

Peggy was born on February 17, 1938 to Andrew and Frances (Musgrave) Weirich who preceded her in death.

She was married to James Myers on May 28, 1955 who passed away in 2019.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Andrea Springman, Leella Frey, Waneta “Mickey” Lee and Clyde Weirich.

She is survived by her daughters Maria (Chris) Fendt of Elkhart and Patricia “Tricia” (Daniel) Oswald of Goshen. 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Peggy was a homemaker and a member of the Goshen City Church of the Brethren where she taught Children’s Sunday School. She was also the director of childcare for eight years and sang in the church choir for more than 30 years.

Visitation for Peggy will be held at Yoder Culp Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. also at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Osborn Cemetery, LaGrange County.
