Pearl M. Davis

Pearl M. Davis, 88, of Goshen, passed away at Goshen General Hospital Thursday evening, August 20, 2009. She was born to Bertha York on March 19, 1921, in White Oak, Tennessee.  She married Walter Davis in Tennessee on December 24, 1938.  He died in 1986. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Community Church, New Paris. She is survived by one son, Delmas Davis of Millersburg; two daughters, Mary Helen Weldy and Ruth (Derwood) Ray, both of Goshen; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2009, and one hour prior to the service on Monday, August 24, 2009, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 24, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Fred Curry of the Full Gospel Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
