Pauline M. Schrock

Pauline M. Schrock, 88, of Goshen, died early Wednesday morning, April 15, 2009, at her home.  She had been suffering from congestive heart failure since 2001. She was born in LaGrange County on March 15, 1921 to Clayton and Maude (Miller) Rheinheimer.  She married Joseph J. Schrock on December 26, 1941 in LaGrange County.  He died August 8, 1983. Mrs. Schrock lived in the area until 1961 when she moved to Farmington, New Mexico, and then to Apache Junction, Arizona, in 1991, and then back to the Goshen area in 2007.  She was a cook for the Farmington School System and a nurse's aide at a Farmington nursing home. She was a member of the New Paris Church of the Nazarene She is survived by a daughter, Rosalee (Jack) Tope of Goshen; two sons, Robert Schrock and Joseph (Carol) Schrock, both of Farmington, New Mexico; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther (Floyd) Hoover of Elkhart; and three brothers, Floyd A. Rheinheimer of Goshen and Ivan (Evelyn) Rheinheimer and Ernest Rheinheimer, both of Apache Junction, Arizona. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Schrock; a sister, Lois Blosser; and three brothers, Al, Maynard & John Rheinheimer. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 19, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 20, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at New Paris Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hess Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the New Paris Church of the Nazarene.
