Pauline Harrison, 66, of Goshen, died unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, December 4, 2009, at Goshen General Hospital in the emergency room from an apparent heart attack. She was born in Seattle, Washington, on August 20, 1943, to the late Ardie and Irene (Poinier) Allen. She married Gary Lee Harrison on April 1, 1981, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Christine (Michael) Negus of Laingsburg, Michigan; a son, Kevin (Julia) Mohney of Goshen; four step-children, Kip Harrison and Vicki (Matthew) Myers, both of Lansing, Michigan, Todd Harrison of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Bradley (Brenda) Harrison of Elkhart, Indiana; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Weldon (Pauline) Allen of Wichita, Kansas, DuBoyd Allen of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and Craig Allen of Michigan; and a sister, Faye (Gary) Strang of Constantine, Michigan. A Goshen resident since 2003, Mrs. Harrison worked as an accountant for the state of Michigan for 20 years until her retirement in 1999. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen. She was an avid golfer, bowler and poker player. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, December 7, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2009, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor John Hickey of Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen, will officiate. The body will be cremated following the funeral service. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
