Pauline L. Fairweather, 68, of Syracuse, died early Thursday morning, December 6, 2007, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend. She was born is Lee County, Virginia, on February 13, 1939, to James and R. Faye (Long) Spangler. She married William H. Fairweather in New Paris on June 26, 1976. He survives. A 1957 graduate of Cassopolis High School, she was self employed doing upholstery and sewing. She attended First Brethren Church of New Paris. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Lorrie L. Bruegel of Greenfield, Deborah J. (John) Richardson of Goshen, Tamara L. Sheldon of Elkhart and Tena M. (Bill) Fender of Holiday, Florida; two sons, Michael O. Fairweather of Florida and Gerald A. (Oyounne) Livings of Fitchburg, Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren’ a sister, Betty “Sue” Tedrick of Bend Oregon and a brother, Douglas (Janie) Spangler of St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffrey L. Livings and a brother, Charles E. Spangler. Friends may call 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, December 9 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2007 funeral service will be conducted at First Brethren Church of New Paris. Pastor Ted Schowengerdt will officiate. Burial will be in Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association or First Brethren Church
