Paul Franklin Stark

Paul F. Stark, 90, of Goshen, died at his home Monday morning, May 28, 2012. He was born November 24, 1921 in Elkhart to the late Roy Martin and Zena Miriam (Frederick) Stark. He married Virginia Swift December 4, 1943 in Miami, Florida. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cynthia (David) Evans of Batavia, Illinois; a son, Martin (Ellen) Stark of Westford, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) DuMoulin, and Paula, Laura and Gregory Stark; and a great-grandson, Luke DuMoulin. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Frederick Stark. A Goshen resident since 2002, Mr. Stark graduated from Elkhart High School in 1939 and later from North Central College, Naperville, Illinois. He served with the US Navy from 1942 to 1946 as a Lieutenant on the USS Bronstein. He retired in 1985 from United States Gypsum in Chicago after 37 years. A memorial service will be held at Nash-Nelson Chapel, Waterman, IL, Sunday June 17, 2012 at 12:30 pm CST. Burial will follow at Oak Mound Cemetery, Somonauk, Illinois.
