Paul D. Scott

Paul D. Scott, 81, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born March 21, 1941, in Goshen to Wilbur and Mildred (Fisher) Scott.

On December 2, 1961, he married Sheila Troup in Milford.

She survives along with three sons, Paul II, John (Sarah) and Michael Scott, all of Goshen; five grandchildren, Paull III and Zachary Scott, Erin Graves and Hannah and Ryan Scott; four great grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna and Ryan Scott and Coy Graves; and a brother, Lanny (Jeanne) Scott of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a great grandson Jacob Meyers.

A 1959 graduate of Goshen High School, Mr. Scott studied at the International Barber College, Indianapolis.  He co-owned and operated Scott’s Barber Shop for 59 years.

Mr. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church of Goshen.  He served on the Goshen City Council for 36 years.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the 12, noon, memorial service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Brant VanHooser will officiate.

Private burial will be in Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church of Goshen.
