Paul O’Harris, 88, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away on April 14, 2026.

He was born on July 15, 1937, in Flint, Michigan, to Lon and Mable (Stenabaugh) O’Harris.

Paul is survived by his previous spouse and good friend, Dorothy O’Harris; his sons, Craig O’Harris and Dean O’Harris of Phoenix, Arizona; and his stepson, Kenneth (Sharon) Bennett Jr. of Millersburg. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Robert (Jackie) Graber, Andrew Graber, Thomas Bennett, Kaylee (James) Traver, Nathan Bennett, Cody Miller, Haleigh Bennett, and Cole Miller. Among the several great-grandchildren he was also survived by, he shared an especially close bond with Clara and Olliver Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his children, Loren O’Harris and Cheryl Olson; stepson, Glen Bennett; and his siblings, Gene and Lyle O’Harris.

Mr. O’Harris was a lifelong worker who mastered several trades. He spent his early career as a butcher, later moving into the transportation industry as a professional truck driver. Upon retiring, Paul became a local entrepreneur, owning and operating a successful lawn service that kept him connected to his community.

Beyond his professional life, Paul was a man of deep devotions. He will be remembered foremost for the unwavering love he held for his family and his spirited dedication as a Notre Dame fanatic. A truly caring man, he found his greatest joy in the simple moments spent with those he loved, often while cheering on his beloved Fighting Irish. His legacy of kindness and his passion for Notre Dame football will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Paul will then be transported to Bay City, Michigan, where he will be laid to rest in his final place of peace.
