Paul C. Homes, 59, of Goshen, died early Tuesday morning, November 4, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital where he had been a patient for four days.  He had been ill the past month with stomach cancer. He was born in Goshen on October 20, 1949, to the late Walter and Edna (Yoder) Homes.  He married Susan Wisler on November 25, 1967, in Goshen.  She survives. A lifetime resident of Goshen, Mr. Homes worked at Shult Homes in Middlebury for 24 years until retiring in 1993.  The past 15 years he was self-employed as an antique dealer. He was a member of the Benton Free Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Susan; a sister-in-law, Linda (Carl) Miller of Syracuse; a nephew, Mike (Cindy) Miller of Goshen; a niece, Sheila (Tim) McGee of Syracuse; and six great nieces and nephews, Tyler, Taryn and Tristyn Miller, Amy and Audrey Richards, and Blaise McGee. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Home on September 6, 1988. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 6 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A Friday, November 7, 2008, funeral service will start at 10:00 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Lenny Krebs of the Benton Free Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Benton Free Baptist Church or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
