Paul W. Hendrix

Paul W. Hendrix, 87, of Goshen died Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Greencroft, Goshen.

He was born August 23, 1937 in Howard County to Zadock and Maryllis (Huffer) Hendrix.

On October 13, 1973 he married Carloyn S. McGillem in Middlebury.  She died March 8, 2024.

He is survived by seven children, Jeannie Dibble of Goshen, Paul “Ed” Hendrix, Tami Shanholt, and Steve Hendrix, all of Constantine, Michigan,  Melissa (Mike) Lantz and Amie Kyle both of Goshen, and Melanie (Rudy) Solis of Constantine, Michigan; two step-children, Lori (Tim) Keenum of Goshen and Stephen (Rojona) Davis of Nappanee; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Marilyn (Ed) Ransopher of North Carolina, Mary (George) Summe and Julia Powell, both of Burlington, Indiana, and Betty Flora of Kokomo, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three brothers, Robert, Charlie, and Jim Hendrix.

Paul was a bulk delivery driver for the Goshen News before he retired.  He was a big Purdue fan who enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, watching birds, and his fish. He especially loved time with his family.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 27 from 1 to 4 and on Monday from 12 until the 1 pm funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Baintertown Cemetery, Goshen.
