Paul H. Frye Jr., 75, died Monday, February 28, 2011, at Health Park Hospital, Fort Myers, Florida. He was born on March 3, 1935, to the late Paul H. Frye Sr., and Ethel Stauffer Frye Bloss, in Goshen. On May 11, 1963 he married Mary Miller. She survives. Mr. Frye graduated from Goshen High School in 1953, and after serving in the U.S. Air Force, he worked at NIBCO. He retired from there in March 2000. He was a caring, gentle man, who took pride in his family. He was also an avid Packer, Dodger, Goshen High School and Indiana University fan. He enjoyed watching sports but his passions were playing golf and tennis. He is survived by one daughter, Tane (Rob) Reed, Goshen; two sons, Bart (Gina Gregg) Frye, Elkhart, Thad Frye, Goshen; 6 grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Keck, Delora Spurlock; 3 foster siblings, Elaine (Kent) Overholser, Donna (Jim) Wininger, and John (Cherry) Stauffer. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloridene Adams; foster parents, Clarence and Maggie Stauffer; foster siblings, Robin Stauffer Hamlin, Barbara Stauffer Johnston, Floyd Stauffer, and Rodney Stauffer. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 4, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home on Saturday, March 5. The Rev. Rob Miller, of Northview Church of the Brethren, Indianapolis, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
