Paul Leslie Conrad

Paul Leslie Conrad, 89, of Goshen, died early Thursday morning, July 17, 2008, at Greencroft Healthcare. He was born to Lester and Mabel (Geiger) Conrad on September 23, 1918, in Portland, Oregon.  He married Nancy Hernley on January 24, 1946 in Ethiopia.   She survives. A physician, Mr. Conrad moved to Goshen seven and a half years ago.  He was a member of the College Mennonite Church, the American Psychiatric Association, the Mennonite Medical Association and a former member of the Scottdale Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Paul L. (Martha) Conrad, II of Goshen, and Glenn (Margaret) Conrad of Columbia, Maryland; a daughter, Mary (Mathew) Conrad Lo of Wilmington, Delaware; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John L. Conrad; two brothers, Clifford and Glen Conrad; and a sister, Myrtle Ruth Conrad. Friends may call 2 to 2:30 p.m., on Sunday, July 20, 2008, in the Koinonia room at College Mennonite Church, Goshen, where a 2:30 p.m., funeral service will be held.  Pastor Lee Hochstetler and Gary Martin of College Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers,  may be made to Dhamtari Christian Hospital.
