Rev. Paul D. Bowen

Rev. Paul D. Bowen, 82, of Goshen went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2023.

He was born March 23, 1940 in Switzer, West Virginia to Oral and Jesse Mae (Oliver) Bowen. They preceded him in death.

On January 28, 2017 he married Annie P. (Rinehart) Looney.

She survives along with children, Roggie (Gladys) Looney, Janice Soard, and Jim (Mary Elise) Looney, all of Goshen, Dianne Bradbury of Elkhart, and Archie Looney of St. Petersburg, Florida; 11 grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Bob (Sue) Vickry of Wakarusa.

Rev. Bowen served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1964. He worked as a painter for HomeCrest Cabinetry, now MasterBrand, for 30 years before retirement.

A faithful man of God, Paul served as a minister for the House of Prayer. He also enjoyed nature and spending time deer hunting.

Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2023 from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Roggie Looney will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
