Patricia A. Walsh

Patricia A. Walsh, 92, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born February 7, 1931 in Hammond to Lester and Florence (Coffman) Fornshell.

Pat is survived by two daughters, Jerilyn Simmons of Millersburg and Lisa (Allan) Lantz of Goshen; two sons, Terry (Debra) Johnson and Mark (Jane) Johnson, both of Goshen; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Michael Fornshell of South Carolina; a sister, Tootie Penn of Knox and a sister-in-law, Brenda Fornshell of Chesterton.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Carl F. Johnson and Floyd E. Walsh; a son, Robert A. Johnson; two grandchildren, Florence M. Simmons and Curt Johnson; two great grandsons, Matthew Simmons and Bentlee Johnson; a sister, Cherry Charlson; two brothers, Lester Jr. and James Fornshell; two sisters-in-law, A.J. and Midge Fornshell; and a son-in-law, Gary M. Simmons.

Pat graduated in 1949 from Chesterton High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Fairfield High School for 26 years before retiring in 1994.  She was a member of the Goshen American Legion Post 30 Auxiliary, Goshen VFW Post #985 Auxiliary and the Millersburg Legion #484 Auxiliary.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.

Memorial donations may be given to Goshen VFW Post #985.
