Patricia A. Thaxton

Patricia A. Thaxton, 69, died Thursday, March 2, 2023 at home on hospice surrounded by family.

She was born August 30, 1953 in Huntington.

Survivors include three children, David (Stacy) Thaxton of Goshen, Travis (Michelle) Thaxton of Goshen, and Tonya Thaxton of Elkhart; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by four siblings; sister, Deb Holdeman, and brothers, Robert, Richard and Ronnie Tackitt.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Tackitt, her mother, Betty (Nelson) Ort, and Billy Lee Thaxton.

Patricia was a fun and loving mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed being in social settings with her family and friends. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting as a hobby.

Visitation will begin Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 12 p.m. prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Tyler will officiate.

Burial will follow at Broadway Cemetery, Kimmell.
