Patricia J. Schrock

Patricia J. Schrock, 79, of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, May 16, 2009, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been since February 2009. She was born in Milford, Indiana, on June 17, 1929, to Otto Leander and Elva Charlene (Charlton) Wiggs. A lifetime resident of the Goshen and Milford area, Ms. Schrock was a homemaker.  She enjoyed swimming and taught her grandchildren to swim.  She also enjoyed raising and working with dogs, especially German Shepherds and Dobermans; and singing and performing in shows. She is survived by two sons, David J. (Kathy) Schrock and Daniel J. (Kelly) Schrock, both of Goshen; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Sue Wooferman of Milford; and longtime friends and caregivers, William (Cheryl) Shively, Jr. of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Wiggs. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 18, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. James Hostetler of Family Worship Center at the Lighthouse will officiate. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery, Milford, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be given to Greencroft Foundation.
