Patricia Jean Geiser

Patricia “Patty” Geiser- dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend of many- passed away surrounded by family on November 30, 2022 at the age of 71 in Goshen, Indiana.

Pat was born December 4, 1950 in Goshen to Ernest and Frances “Jolene” (Hossler) Mosness.

Pat is survived by her husband Rich Geiser and daughters Christina Cordell (Gerhid Homes) and Tracy (Kevin) Paulus both of Goshen; a brother Denny (Kathy) Mosness of Goshen; grandchildren Landon and Taylor Cordell of Goshen, grand- dog Aggie of Goshen; and bonus grandsons Alex Parga of Goshen, and Ethen Homes of Roann.

Pat was a 1969 graduate of Goshen High School.  Her early jobs included waitressing at the Olympia and a bank teller at First National Bank where she met the love of her life.  Rich and Pat were married in Goshen on November 27, 1971.  After her first child she was blessed to stay home and started her most treasured job of being wife, mom, and then grandma.

She was a member of Psi Iota Xi, Friends of the Library and an Auxiliary member of Goshen VFW Post 985.  She also dedicated many hours to GHS Band Boosters as a Band Mom.  She attended the Community Church of Waterford and was a prior member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.  She touched many lives and will be remembered as a loving woman that would do anything for others.  Her smile could light up a room and she never lost her sense of humor and her giggle was infectious.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Dave Bunyan and former Pastor Chris Russell will officiate.

Her family is indebted to the loving care Goshen Hospice provided and ask that memorial donations be made to Goshen Care at Home Hospice in lieu of flowers.
