Patricia Anne Berkey

Patricia Anne Berkey, 81, of Goshen, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born May 26, 1942 in Goshen to William and Elizabeth (Delcamp) Hoke.

On October 27, 1961 she married Timothy R. Berkey. He passed away November of 2019.

She is survived by three children, Christine Wagner, Goshen, Timothy (Pamela) Berkey, Goshen and Richard Berkey of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grand-children; a sister, Deanna Magers and two brothers, David (Ludema) Hoke, Elkhart and Stephen (Arlene) Hoke, Stratford, Canada.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandie Willard; a granddaughter, Sarah Wagner; three sisters, Eleanora Magers Rosemary Nixon and Wilma Hoke and two brothers, William Hoke, Jr. and Wayne Hoke.

Patricia graduated from Concord High School in 1960 and was Co-owner of Berkey’s Garage, INC.

She was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church and enjoyed going to the casino. Also was involved with Gold Wing Riders Association and traveled through 46 states and Canada with her husband on their Gold Wing.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 6 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where an 11 a.m. funeral service will take place Wednesday, June 7. Rev. Timothy T. Yoder will officiate.

Memorial donations may be given to Diabetes Association or Humane Society of Elkhart County.

Burial will follow in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
