Patricia Ann Battles

Patricia Ann Battles, 88, of Goshen, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She was born on March 17, 1937, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, to Clarence and Martha (Lyonn) McClearn. On May 2, 1956, she married Donald Lee Battles Sr. in Stoneboro, Pennsylvania. Together they shared 69 years of marriage.

Patricia is survived by her four children: Laura Sue (Steve) Buss of Elkhart, Cheryl Lynn (Keith) Miller of Goshen, Donald Lee (Denise) Battles Jr. of Goshen, and Jeffrey Todd (Barbara) Battles of Goshen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and her loving dog, Brandi.

She worked for 23 years as a secretary at Hoogenboom-Nofziger.

Patricia loved genealogy, enjoyed traveling with Don—especially their time on Captiva Island and Sanibel Island—and cherished family get-togethers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. A private burial for the family will take place.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to the Humane Society of Elkhart County, the American Cancer Society, or The Center for Hospice.
