Pamela Marie Knapp

Pamela Marie Knapp, 71, passed away on May 16, surrounded by her family after battling cancer for 15 months.

She was born September 26, 1952, in Manistee, Michigan, to Paul Albert and Vernibel Evelyn (Franks) Julien.

Pamela is survived by her former husband, Thomas Knapp, children Paula (Anthony Chretien) Knapp, of Goshen, Timothy S. (Melissa Murray) Knapp, of Goshen, and Susan (Luis) Espinosa, of New Paris; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Whisper Bush, Ricardo (Hernandez-Bush), Kingslee Cupp, Odesza Hensley, baby Hensley, Diamond Bush, Brunno Sanchez Bush, Romeo Bush, Nayeli Martinez, Isabella Martinez, Jasmine Bush, Ariaa Bush, Walter Bush, Jr., Heaven Bush, Tieller Knapp, Kivionn Knapp, Timothy S. Knapp, Jr., Ariana S., Ethan T., Zachary E., Viviana S., and Luis A. Espinosa; foster brothers and sisters, Kim (Bob) Mette of Belmont, Michigan, Kraig Grover of Elkhart, Kevin (Lisa) Grover of Granger, and Kelley (Mike) Engel of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cindy Jean Jones and an infant sister, Kathy Jane Julien.

Pamela graduated from Edwardsburg High School in 1971, and attended Ferris State University for 1 year, studying cosmetology. She worked as a cashier at Meijer for 18 years until her retirement and had worked for Olan Mills prior to her position at Meijer.

Pamela loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going out to eat, drinking coffee and loved to cook. It brought Pam a lot of joy being around people, especially giving hugs.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service, which will take place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will be at Schoolcraft Township Cemetery, in Vicksburg, Michigan.

Memorial contributions may be given to Yoder-Culp Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
