Pamela S. Elijah, 73, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been since October 8.
She was born June 21, 1950 in Goshen to Paul William and Anna L. (Pippenger) Elijah.
She is survived by a nephew, William Glen (Kacy) Elijah of Syracuse; three great nephews, Logan Elijah and Tyler and Riley Matthews; two great-great nephews; a great-great niece: two very good friends Pat Nofziger of Goshen and Carole Spence of Elkhart; Judy and Tom’s extended family and her beloved cat, George.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Elijah and a sister, Judith Strycker.
She was a cat lover and enjoyed reading, especially history, music, movies and did counted cross-stitch projects. Pamela was Indiana’s representative to the Official Beatles Fan Club and following that responsibility became the official representative to the Harrison Alliance.
A 1968 graduate of Goshen High School, Pamela was a consummate self-educated learner. She worked as a purchasing agent for Duplex for 16 years and Berry Plastics for 21 years until retiring in 2018.
Visitation will Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 3 to 4:45 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 5 p.m. funeral service will follow the visitation.
Burial will be at Violett Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice or Elkhart County Humane Society.
