Orlo C. Brenneman

December 17, 1915 — April 11, 2010

Orlo C. Brenneman, 94, died early Sunday morning, April 11, 2010, at Grace Village, Winona Lake, Indiana. He was born December 17, 1915 to Noah H. and Sallie S. (Heatwole) Brenneman in Elida, Ohio.  On May 28, 1942 he married Thelma L. Gilnett in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. She died March 5, 1996. Mr. Brenneman was a member of the Mennonite Church of Warsaw and was a printer in Christian publishing. Surviving are his three daughters, Janet (Melvin) Wingrove, Leicester, North Carolina, Judith (Jerard) Garifine, Long Beach, New Jersey, and Joyce (Bill) LeMasters, Lakeland, Florida; three sons,  Joseph Brenneman , Larwill, Indiana,  James Brenneman, Warsaw, Indiana, and John Brenneman, Winona Lake, Indiana; 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded by a sister, Ada Criswell; and three brothers, Earl L., Clarence W., and Horance Q. Brenneman. The family will receive friends 1:30 to 3:30 and 5:00 to 6:15 p.m., on Monday, April 19, at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft, Goshen where a service will be held at 6:30 p.m.  Friends may also call from 10 to 11:15 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, at the Salem Mennonite Church, Elida, Ohio, where an 11:30 a.m. funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Salem Church Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Church of Warsaw.
