Olga Lukianenko, 87, of Goshen, died unexpectedly Friday evening, April 10, 2009, in the emergency room at Goshen General Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1921, in Mohilew, Byelorussi, Ukraine, to Theodore and Fannie (Krasowshai) Yhotenko. She married Peter Lukianenko in Byelorussi on October 8, 1942. He died July 10, 1995. A Goshen resident since 1953, Mrs. Lukianenko came to the US on February 7, 1952, arriving in Newark, New Jersey. Mrs. Lukianenko retired in 1983 as an inspector from Goshen Rubber Company. She had also worked at the Chase Bag Company. She is survived by four sons, George Lukianenko and Peter D. Lukianenko, both of Goshen, Nick (Faith) Lukianenko of Holland, Michigan, and Vladimir Lukianenko of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; a two year old son, Edward; and a sister, Duska. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 13, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m. A 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Father Daniel Marshall of the Holy Virgin Protection Russian Orthodox Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
