Olga Hrynewycz, 88, of Goshen, died early Tuesday morning, May 18, 2010, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born July 21, 1921, in East Ukraine, to Stephen and Helen (Petruszenko) Atomuniuk. She married Michael Hrynewycz on June 25, 1944. He died August 18, 1999. Mrs. Hrynewycz moved to the US on November 25, 1950 and moved to Goshen on June 10, 1966 from Chicago. She worked at Shasta RV Company. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She is survived by three daughters, Maria Slowik of Rockford, Illinois, Helen (Orville) Pollock, Jr. of Goshen, and Anna Gingerich of Plymouth, Minnesota; three sons, Roma (Linda) Hrynewycz of Warsaw, Stephen (Barbara) Hrynewycz and Michael (Cindy) Hrynewycz, Jr., both of Goshen; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Michael and Igor Atomoniuk of Ukraine. She was preceded in death by a grandson and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 20 at the funeral home where a 7:00 p.m., Panakhyda service will be conducted. A 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 21, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Father Taras Maximtsiz of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
